‘EU STREET ART’An exhibition of graffiti and stencil art.Commissioned by the European Commission Representation in Ireland and curated by Fiona Mulholland.Monday 1st of November- Friday 12th November 2010.European Union House. 18 Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
The exhibition includes works by ADW, Danleo, Adrian et Shane, Mick Minogue, Will St Leger and Jor/John O’Reilly.‘EU STREET ART’ brings together a group of leading Irish artists working in the field of graffiti and stencil art. The artists were asked to produce two panels each illustrating their personal view of Europe today. A common thread in the exhibition is the interesting variety of witty responses, the colour and the craftsmanship inherent in the works. While investigating different themes, what is evident in the work presented is the artists’ continuous preoccupation with their surroundings and their transformative eye in translating the everyday into the extraordinary. The works are a true reflection of thoughts from the street to the street.

This is a print I did for an exhibition called “Show Off” which was held in a shop called Article in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre. Each artist was given a letter to interpret. I was given “E”. At the bottom of the image is the title written in Phonetics to show some different ways of how E is pronounced in English. The show runs until October 30th.
